Sales Representative

Salary:

4,000–4,500 during the probationary period; after confirmation, a combined salary of 5,000–10,000+ comprising a base salary plus commission

 

Age:

22–35 years old

 

Education:

Higher National Diploma or above

 

Experience:

Experience in freight forwarding sales; candidates with experience in international trade who have liaised with freight forwarders regarding shipments will also be considered

 

Core Competencies:

Experience and ability in developing new clients

 

Soft Skills:

Quick-witted, with the emotional intelligence to communicate effectively with clients

 

Bonus Points:

Candidates with existing client networks who can bring them into the company

 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop new clients in target markets, both domestic and international;

2. Understand client needs, communicate the company’s channel advantages, and assist clients with export arrangements;

3. Be familiar with the company’s international transport operations; provide optimal international logistics solutions based on clients’ orders; monitor the entire transport process; work closely with customer service to promptly resolve any issues encountered during transit; and deliver the best possible professional service to clients;

4. Strive to achieve individual and team targets; maintain good client relationships; and uphold the company’s brand image;

5. Carry out other tasks assigned by line managers.

 

Candidate Requirements:

1. A degree in International Trade, Marketing, Sales, Logistics or a related field is preferred;

2. Outgoing, proactive and ambitious, with a clear mind, strong communication skills and a willingness to take on challenges;

3. Enthusiastic about and committed to the logistics industry, with a desire for long-term career development within the sector;

4. Honest and upright, hard-working, highly responsible and a strong team player;
