Sales Manager

Age:

28–40 years old

 

Education:

Higher National Diploma or above

 

Experience:

Top-performing freight forwarding sales professional with experience leading a sales team

 

Core Competencies:

Responsible for building a local sales team from scratch, developing the market, and meeting the branch’s profit targets.

 

Soft Skills:

Experience in leading a team

 

Desirable:

Ability to transfer an existing team (sales + operations) in its entirety

 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop direct clients, such as domestic and international import and export companies, as well as indirect clients, such as domestic and international freight forwarding firms;

2. Provide timely and optimal solutions; regularly communicate with clients regarding new requirements and issues; actively listen to client feedback; promptly report back to the company and drive timely corrective actions;

3. Carry out sales activities in a planned manner in accordance with the company’s sales targets;

4. Possess strong communication and negotiation skills; be able to lead the team to exceed company targets on time and to a high standard; and be capable of effectively building and expanding the sales team.

 

Qualifications:

1. Higher National Certificate or above; requirements may be relaxed for candidates with extensive team management experience;

2. At least 3 years’ experience in sales and team management; candidates with experience in international logistics or those bringing their own team will be given priority;

3. Strong learning and communication skills, along with sound market analysis capabilities and keen customer insight;

4. A balanced approach combining steadiness with drive; strong ambition, quick thinking, a professional attitude, the ability to cope with significant work pressure, and good interpersonal skills;

5. Familiarity with import/export and international logistics processes.
